About Paul

Paul Carnahan is a writer based in Central Scotland.

Born in Glasgow, he grew up in the new town of Cumbernauld and studied journalism at Napier Polytechnic (later renamed Edinburgh Napier University, so he's never quite sure if he's allowed to claim he went to university or not).

After decades in local and national journalism, he is now a full-time novelist.

He lives with his wife, two children, two dogs and five cats and plays guitar regularly, but poorly. 'How Soon Is Now?' is his first novel. His second, 'End of a Century' will be released in 2025. His third novel is a work in progress.
